Creating a Closer
Veteran Community

DVA Community Nursing

Eligible veterans and war widows/widowers may receive in-home nursing support through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Community Nursing Program.

This program offers fully funded clinical and personal care services designed to support your health and independence at home. Whether it's helping you manage a health condition, recover from illness, or maintain daily routines, the care is delivered by qualified Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Home Support Workers. The goal is to help you remain in your own home for as long as possible, reducing the need for hospitalisation or residential care.
